 PROBLEM: PARKING
We have recently learned about a special street
festival sanctioned
by the City of Fort Lauderdale that is taking place from 10am-midnight
on the beach in front of our nightclub Exit 66. About a 1/2
mile stretch of A1A northbound from Las Olas
will be closed off during the festival (click on the map to the right
to see where the road will be blocked off).
We expect that a lot
of people will be on the beach this day because of this festival,
and also because many Miami locals leave South Beach and travel north
to get away from the commotion of the Hiphop Conference that takes
place the same weekend in Miami.
This will dramatically impact the parking
and traffic situation on the beach. We are worried
that it may be difficult or impossible to park on the beach if you
are attending our event. Parking may be sparsely available, several
blocks from the club, and will cost $10 or more.
SOLUTION: RIDE THE BUS
Our solution to this problem is to hire
a third party bus to transport our fetish friends from the host hotel
Sheraton to the nightclub. The hotel has plenty of parking available
and it is affordable at only $7 for an all-night pass.
We will be
selling a special one-night only bus pass for Saturday
for $10. This
will get you delivered from the door of the Sheraton to the door
of the party, and when you're ready to head back, you will get delivered
from the door of the party back to the Sheraton. The buses will
run every 20 minutes all night long, so leave when you're ready;
come back when you're done.
BONUS: FREE OFFICIAL AFTERPARTY
At the end of the night, the bus also delivers you
to the door for our incredible
afterparty at the Sheraton on Saturday night from
4am-6am, so think of it as 2 parties for the
price of one. We will
set up pro lights and sound poolside, and we will partying with
special guest DJ KC
Killjoy who will spin a
set perfect for the mood.
So come out early to the Sheraton, and have dinner
and cocktails with your fetish friends. Stick around late for the
afterparty. If you haven't experienced the Sheraton completely taken
over by our fetish crowd, you're missing out on the magic that is
our Anniversary Fetish Weekend.
We will be selling our one-day
bus passes in advance
at the FF store, and also at the door of the Sheraton the
night of the event. $10 cash only. The one-night pass is good for
Saturday only and can not be used to ride the bus on Friday or Sunday.
If you would like to ride the bus all three nights,
we offer our all-access transportation pass for
$30, available
online, in advance at the FF store, or at the door of the Sheraton
/ nightclub on the night of the events.
